Erik Karlsson’s confidence was through the roof on Monday night after playing one of his best games with the Sharks in a longggg time.

The 30-year-old recorded his first multi-goal game of the season (and first since January 26, 2019) and managed to pot home the shootout winner in a 4-3 victory over the. We haven’t seen this from Karlsson in quite some time and it appears people forgot that this dude used to be the single best offensive defenceman in the world.

Just look at his response when a reporter asked him if last night’s performance was the best offensive showing of his career…

LOL too good. And the apple… the Swede was absolute BUZZIN during this presser.

Was that the same apple or a different one?!

Let’s remember that Karlsson has 616 career points in 766 career games. Buddy was regularly putting up multi-point games, they just haven’t come as commonly in San Jose. Karlsson had 45 and 40 points respectively over his two previous seasons and has just 13 through 30 this year. He surpassed the 60 mark six times during his time in Ottawa.

You gotta love EK. What a gem.
