With the Little League World Series unfolding this weekend, there is a ton, and we mean a TON of incredible talent on display from the youth baseball level.
Though there is one player in particular who sticks out for an incredible person.
Ella Bruning, an 11-year-old playing for Wylie Little League, representing Texas at the LLWS, is the only girl competing in the competition this year.
And let us tell you, this girl is incredible around the plate. From batting to catching, Ella is finding herself in the record books. Oh, and did we mention to not turn your eye on her because she’s incredible at base running.
As just the 20th girl to participate in the Little League World Series, Ella also is the seventh girl to record a hit in the LLWS and just the third with multiple hits in a single LLWS competition.
Following Texas’ win over Washington, Ella shared how her two hits were just her first of the season. Shocking considering she put on an absolute show Friday evening.
You gotta love this kid! We’re rooting for you, Ella!
