The Nashville Predators have no shortage of fans to sell out their home games, so it makes sense that they would try to prevent Ducks fans from invading their territory.
This is not a new tactic for NHL teams, as they frequently will put up location-based blocks on their ticket sales. Apparently the Preds have done this for the Anahiem area as someone tweeted out that a Ducks’ season-ticket holder was having trouble trying to purchase tickets for the away games in the series.
Anaheim fans were not all too pleased with this development.
One fan pointed out that the Tampa Bay Lightning have done this in past, and fans weren’t too thrilled about that either.
