It’s been one month since the lights in NHL arenas suddenly went out. With COVID-19 precautions going from near 0 to 100 in the span of almost no time at all, it came as a shock to the hockey world.
We know that it has to happen, but it doesn’t make things any easier, particularly that right now we’d being watching first round action. What needs to happen is happening, but it doesn’t make us miss the sport any less.
While it’s easy to get caught up in the heartache of the present, it’s exciting to think about the future when hockey finally does return. One thing is for sure, we’ll never take the sport for granted.
