Deshaun Watson got PAID on Saturday as a testament to his play for the Houston Texans. Widely considered to be one of the most dangerous offensive threats when he’s clicking, Watson secured a HUGE contract.
That’s big boy money right there.
A fan favourite and always a threat to break out on the field, Texans fans were likely relieved to see their star QB locked up. Especially considering some rumblings that Watson may not be very happy with the team. On Saturday, Watson participated in a press conference where he was surprised by members of his family.
Clearly overcome with emotion, Watson listened as his family gave him wise advice, before loosening up and giving the kids on screen a nice shoutout.
With the contract only lasting four years, he’s set himself up for another huge payday in the future if he continues to perform on the field.
