Kyle Lowry will be the first one to admit he didn’t expect to stay in Toronto long-term after the Raptors acquired him, but things changed pretty quickly once he made it north of the border and a lot of that had to do with the relationship he formed with DeMar DeRozan.

With DeRozan now in Chicago and Lowry in Miami, the two will now get to meet a lot more than twice a year and they had their first of four reunions on Saturday night in Chicago.

They’re not just the best of friends, though, they’re brothers, and DeRozan confirmed that after the game when Bulls Insider K.C. Johnson asked DeRozan to put his bond with Lowry into words.

Don't be sad that it's over, Raptors fans, just be happy that it happened.
