Through ten years in the NBA, and nine of them in Toronto, DeMar DeRozan has made the rounds on the highlight reel. We’re talking big dunks, playoff runs and clutch plays, many of which would be familiar for any Raptors fan.
It’s always a treat to see what players actually think of their own best plays, and for over half an hour, DeRozan ran it back with House of Highlights to watch through some of his own highlights. From his game-winning dunk on Anthony Tolliver to his playoff battles against Cleveland to his dunk on Rudy Gobert, this is a pretty good rewind of DeRozan’s career to this point.
Even though DeRozan never got the Raptors over the hump in his time here — it took his departure in the Kawhi Leonard trade for Toronto get their title — there are still obviously some special memories from his time here. It’s nice to see just what he thinks of some of those, too.
Even though he’s about to embark on his second season with the Spurs, DeRozan is still showing love to his former teammates and fans in Toronto. At the very beginning of training camp, he described just how happy he was to see the team win last year.
