We’re still a few months away from the start of baseball season, but that just means it’s the perfect time for Minor League Baseball teams to start announcing their promotional nights for the upcoming season.
The Daytona Tortugas, the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, revealed their entire promotional calendar for the 2019 campaign earlier this week and it’s going to be pretty tough for other teams to compete with their lineup.
Before we even get into their promotional giveaway nights let’s just stop and show some appreciation for their food and beverage deals, because those are deals that will make any fan a happy fan.
The Tortugas aren’t wasting any time getting right into the promotional giveaways as they’ll celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Hangover with special edition Baby Carlos themed jerseys.
We’ve seen some fantastic theme jerseys over the years, but this one is definitely up there as one of the greatest one we’ve ever seen.
It may be a little early to say but the Jackie Robinson statue also looks like one of the best giveaway items we’ll see this season. They’re also going to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Jersey Shore with what appears to be a DJ Pauly D bobblehead, as well as the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with fantastic tie-dye jerseys.
The rest of the competition has some time to finalize their promotional schedules, but it’s going to be tough for them to top the Tortugas.
