Saturday night against the Senators, Mitch Marner scored a goal on Craig Anderson that was straight out of the trailer for NHL 18.
It's always fun to see something pulled off in a video game recreated in real life, but it's not so fun if you're on the wrong end of it and Anderson wasn't the only one on the wrong end of the goal.
When the trailer for NHL 18 dropped, Nicholle Anderson had a wonderful reaction to it on Twitter.
While Craig wasn't as out of position as he was in the video game, he still allowed the goal and Leafs fans dug up the old tweet rather quickly.
As always, Anderson was ready with the perfect response that was all class.
Interactions like these make the game we love that much more enjoyable, so hats off to Anderson for being such a good sport about it. Craig will get him next time!
