It looks like the Dallas Cowboys are going to have a new head coach next season.
Just about every single football fan knew that this could be Garrett’s final season with the team if they failed to make the playoffs, so after the Cowboys dropped four of their final six games and fell out of the playoff picture everyone knew it was coming, they just didn’t know when.
Now it looks like it's going to be official any day now and Cowboys fans seem pretty happy about it.
Garrett took over as the Cowboys’ head coach Week 10 of the 2010 season and went 5-3 down the stretch. Over his 10 seasons as Dallas’ head coach, the team went 85-67 and 2-3 in the playoffs. The Cowboys also made the playoffs just three times in his 10 years as the bench boss.
