It’s been about nine months since Conor McGregor went toe-to-toe with Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the ring and nearly 21 months since he last stepped inside the octagon for a bout, but it looks like a return is in the 29-year-old's near future.

On Wednesday afternoon, McGregor took to social media to share a video of him training at the Straight Blast Gym in Ireland and it looks like he’s ready to get back in the octagon (or ring) for a meaningful fight.

The post received some mixed reactions from fight fans. Some were very excited about the post and showed their support for McGregor with comments like “the King is back” and “the greatest”, but others weren’t as supportive as the post was flooded with comments from Khabib Nurmagomedov supporters.
