The hockey world is mourning the loss of the 2022 World Juniors tournament, and one of the huge reasons why is named Connor Bedard.

The 16-year-old super-talent has been turning heads in the WHL this year, and the World Juniors was an opportunity to see him compete on a larger international stage than ever before. In the two games that Canada did play, Bedard flashed his well-versed talent with a four-goal game against Germany.

Then, the tournament ended.

Now back with the WHL’s Regina Pats, Bedard didn’t miss a beat. He went ahead and promptly scored four goals against the Moose Jaw Warriors, including a highlight reel skate to start it off, and an overtime winner to end it.

Bedard isn’t eligible for the NHL Entry Draft just yet, but you can bet there will be a lot of teams pining for his services when that Draft finally takes place.

The kid is NUTS!
