People around the world are still doing what they can to show support and help the Humboldt community and the families affected by the tragic bus accident that took the lives of 16 people, including the Broncos’ play-by-play commentator Tyler Bieber.

This past weekend, play-by-play commentators throughout the AHL came together to pay tribute and honour the memories of the Humboldt Broncos by staying silent during the first 16 seconds of game action to allow Tyler Bieber to make the call.

Commentators from cities such as Hershey, San Antonio, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Manitoba, Rochester, Providence, Lehigh Valley, Milwaukee and Hartford all came together and held a 16 seconds moment of silence for Tyler and the Humboldt Broncos and it was a very thoughtful and heartwarming gesture by the teams and their staff.

This is just one of the many ways the hockey community has shown love and support for the Humboldt Broncos and the Humboldt community, with other ways being through donations, the #PutYourStickOut movement, decals on helmets and many more, and the selfless acts have not gone unnoticed.
