Put a baseball in Red Sox ace Chris Sale's hands and he can hit just about anything. But put a basketball in his hands and things get a little wild.
Recently, Sale issued a heartfelt get well soon message to fellow Boston athlete, Gordon Hayward. Rather than sending a standard, short tweet to Hayward, Sale decided to do things a bit differently, injecting humour into the equation. Well, at least we think that's what he was going for.
Missed basketball shot, or expertly thrown pitch? Sale is known for sniping the corners, so perhaps this was his way of combining the best of both worlds. Either way, this was an excellent get well soon video that's sure to bring a smile to Hayward's face.
