If you watch basketball you know that sometimes players embellish a bit when they get hit but it appears that they have their own "good" reason; to get the foul called, take some free-throws and put points on the board.
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid had a big night Wednesday. He led the team to a 117-109 and got to the foul line 21 times, but the high number of free-throw line appearances bothered Celtics guard Marcus Smart, who called Embiid out for flailing his way to calls.
Smart does have a bit of a reputation for flailing so Embiid didn’t back down from the fight. Embiid went back at Smart and basically told the Celtics guard to look in the mirror.
