When a player gets traded there is always multipole emotions attached to it. The fans could be happy or sad the player is gone, the play themselves would be feeling different emotions depending on the circumstances.
In the case of Caris LeVert he didnβt seem to be bothered too much by his move to Indiana. The Pacers have a good system and could use a player of his caliber to boost them to the next level. However, when the deal went through there were some injury complications and LeVert failed his physical. Which compensated the Cavs to a pick.
It turns out the surgery he had was to treat a kidney cancer which came as a shock to LeVert.
He is expected to make a full recovery but itβs crazy to think this trade could have potentially saved his life.
