There’s an influx of Canadian talent in the NBA, and especially in New York. After Thursday’s NBA Draft, the Knicks came away with two of the country’s top up-and-comers: R.J. Barrett with the third overall pick, as well as Ignas Brazdeikis in the second round — these two became part of a record-setting draft class with six Canadians selected.

It’s pretty neat, and Barrett and Brazdeikis seem to be getting settled in their new home quite nicely, and what could be more Canadian than for these two to attend the Rangers’ watch party for the NHL Draft?

About as obvious as Zion Willamson, Ja Morant and Barrett going 1-2-3 in the NBA Draft was Jack Hughes going first overall to the Devils, and then the Rangers scooping Kaapo Kakko immediately after.
