It appears that there are a few family ties within the Stanford Cardinal Women’s Basketball team!
As No. 1 Stanford beat No. 8 Oklahoma State in the second round to move on to Sweet 16, Stanford point-guard Anna Wilson had her older brother Russell in attendance tonight!
Though within Tuesday’s broadcast, it was noted that Cardinal forward Cameron Brink also has some championship ties in her family!
Brink is the Godsister of Steph Curry!
Steph’s parents Dell and Sonya Curry were close friends with Brink’s parents back at Virginia Tech and are the godparents of Cameron. Dell and Greg Brink were teammates together while Michelle Brink was Sonya’s roommate and a standout basketball star herself.
Since then, both families have been close as both the Curry and Brink kids grew up with one another.
And adorably, Cameron makes a lot of Tiktoks with the Curry’s!
