As much as hockey players try to keep their emotions in check in order to be at their best for their team, sometimes their emotions get the best of them and they do things they regret later.

Friday night, for example, Brian Boyle let his emotions get the best of him against the Dallas Stars.  After scoring a goal, Boyle celebrated by getting in John Klingberg's face and then fighting Greg Pateryn.

Boyle earned a two minute-minor for roughing and a 10-minute misconduct on the play.  He eventually returned and ended the night with a goal and two assists in the win.

After the game, though, Boyle regretted his decision to do what he did.

Like we said, emotions sometimes get the best of players and that's what happened here to Boyle.

As you can see, he knows he went about things the wrong way after the goal, but he plays with emotion and that's a good thing according to his teammates.
