When the rosters were announced for the NHL All-Star game, hockey fans knew that there was a chance the rosters wouldn't stay the same due to players dropping out because of injury.

Taylor Hall of the New Jersey Devils was officially ruled out of the game due to injury, which is a good thing if you're a Devils fan because he can be cautious and rest and get ready for the team's playoff push.

Now that Hall has been ruled out, another Devils player will have to replace him at the event and on Thursday night, the hockey world found out who Hall's replacement would be.

The fact that Brian Boyle is playing hockey this season after he was diagnosed with cancer before the season started is incredible in itself and now he has a chance to represent his team at the All-Star game.

Upon finding out he would be Hall's replacement, Boyle responded in the perfect way.

Boyle is extremely humble and incredibly courageous, and we can't wait to see him compete in the All-Star game this weekend.
