The Carolina Mudcats have been the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers since 2017 and this season they’ll change their name for a few games as a way to show some love for their big league club.

Since the MLB club is named the ‘Brewers’, they decided it would only be right to have one of their minor league clubs named the ‘Micro Brews’.

For four regular season games, the Carolina Mudcats will be known as the Carolina Micro Brews as a way to pay homage to the Brewers and their area’s history of microbreweries.

Fans will have a chance to take home a replica Micro Brews jerseys at one of the four games they’ll be known as the Micro Brews, and the team also made sure to have the other giveaways have some sort of connection to beer.

This is easily one of the smartest and greatest promotions of the season.
