Brad Marchand is one of those players that you'd love if he was on your team, but if he wasn't on your team, chances are you might dislike him.
To make matters worse for those fans that don't like him, Marchand has developed into one of the best wingers in hockey and his 50-point season thus far in just 38 games got him into the All-Star game this year.
Just before the All-Star break, Marchand was suspended for five games, so you knew the Tampa Bay crowd would be less than friendly towards him.
Saturday night, for example, a couple of fans brought this sign to the game, but rather than be upset about the hate, Marchand embraced it and took a picture with the fans and the sign.
Then, after his showing in the skills competition, Marchand took to Twitter to poke fun at himself and thank the fans.
Finally, on Sunday during his player introduction, the fans booed Marchand and he responded by blowing kisses to the crowd.
The fact that he embraces the boos might make some hate him more, but it makes us like him even more.
