Brad Marchand is far and away the best heel in the NHL. He’s at the point where he knows there is a large part of the NHL fan base that actively roots against him, but he’s started to embrace it.
Last year, he spoke to Cabbie and how he handles the haters but it seems like his strategy has evolved – he’s started to embrace his role and troll people with it. Marchand’s Twitter has been especially active the past couple of months and he just sent out what has to be his best tweet yet.
Someone who clearly wasn’t a fan of Marchand’s style of play customized an Xbox controller to give Marchand some special combinations for NHL 18.
As any good heel does, he’s started to turn people from haters to fans and people are starting to fully embrace Marchand’s role in the NHL.
With nine points in his first six games, there's no doubt that you're going to need a couple more button combinations to get everything that Marchand has in his repetoire. One controller isn't enough to capture the well-rounded game of the game's best pest.
