Scary news for the Cincinnati Bengals, after star rookie quarterback Joe Burrow was carted off the field following a gruesome hit from the Washington defense.
Following the hit, players from both teams stood by Burrow to offer their support, including a special gesture from Washington’s Chase Young who was drafted with the No. 2 pick immediately following Burrow in this year’s draft.
While we don’t know the full extent of the injury, it has been confirmed as a left knee injury, and you hate to see it happen after such a strong opening to Burrow’s NFL career.
Across the league, players are expressing their support for Burrow.
