Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Anton Forsberg is playing his part in helping a legacy live on.

The Swedish goaltender, who played in 35 games for the Blackhawks last season, shook things up for the upcoming season with a special tribute to one of his country’s musical heroes. On the side of his mask, an incredible drawing of the late DJ Avicii can be seen. Avicii, born Tim Bergling, passed away on April 20. He can be seen wearing a Blackhawks hat in his Wikipedia photo.

Some impressive artwork from Dave Gunnarsson!

It’s been a rough, rough summer for the music community. Just yesterday, it lost Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller at the age of 26. Miller, who was an avid sports fan, was recognized by the Penguins, Steelers and Pirates.

Minnesota Timberwolves start Karl-Anthony Towns also paid tribute to the rapper.

These artists were taken too soon, but it’s nice to see athletes playing their part in helping the world remember them.
