Saturday night, the stars were out in Toronto as the Golden State Warriors were in town and Drake was in the building for the game.
#Drake was talking some trash to #KevinDurant after he missed an easy dunk 😂
A post shared by TSN (@tsn_official) on
The Warriors took a huge lead into half, and although the Raptors battled back in the 3rd, it was still a double digit lead heading into the 4th. The Raptors kept on fighting, though, and made a game out of it as they cut the lead to one.
Unfortunately the comeback came up short and Toronto couldn't come up with the win as they fell to the Warriors in what had to be one of the best games of the season thus far.
Win or lose. Love this team.

Drake chirping the guy he got his number tattoo'd on his arm. Bizarre Love Triangle.

Whatever happens over the final 3 mins, this might be more impressive than Thursday. Sure, Warriors are on a b2b/Raptors have Ibaka back but Golden State is FAR better than Cleveland right now and, unlike the Cavs Thurs, they're not messing around. Raps showing some serious fight
— Josh Lewenberg (@JLew1050) January 14, 2018
What a fight by the @Raptors,they could’ve just sat back and taken the L,but they were able to fight back and make it a competitive game at the end. Also DeMar DeRozan #NBAVote
— Cory (@corydanis) January 14, 2018
This Warriors Raptors 4th quarter has been absolutely bonkers.
— Jordan Christmas (@SportstalkXmas) January 14, 2018
Raptors a damn threat
— Claude J Esekody (@ceeclod) January 14, 2018
raptors are winning this year
— jenn (@jenniferhaaaa) January 14, 2018
raptors are the best team and biggest threat to the Warriors in the East. Cavs too old. Celtics too young. Raptors are juuuuuust right. #Raptorsin6
— Spencer Palladino (@spalladino14) January 14, 2018
Damn. Raptors really war ready this season
— Meliodas (@ray_coon_) January 14, 2018

Wow. Great come back by the Raptors though!
— K (@ThisIsK_) January 14, 2018
Great effort. Another performance to help Toronto REALLY get behind this Raptors team. Special group. #WeTheNorth

Let’s chalk this up as a “spiritual win” for the Toronto Raptors. #DubNation #WeTheNorth pic.twitter.com/5qPMGYFq6J

The Raptors are for real this year
— Casey (@CaseyTheGemini_) January 14, 2018
Give the Raptors credit what an exciting game this is a loss I'm okay with considering who we are playing against well done #WeTheNorth #RTZ
— Stazie. (@Alpha_Omega_X1) January 14, 2018
Well.. thank you @Raptors , that was fun! #wethenorth
— Kara Wagland (@Kara_Wagland) January 14, 2018
Raptors drop their 8th straight meeting with Warriors. 5 of last 6 have been by 6 pts or less. They can be damn proud of this one though. Down 27 after giving up 81 pts in the 1st half, without Lowry, fought back and lost by 2. More impressive than Thursday's 34pt win over Cavs
— Josh Lewenberg (@JLew1050) January 14, 2018
amazing effort by the raptors tonight👏🏽
— aaron (@AirOnRice) January 14, 2018
I feel like the Raptors won even though they lost 🤷🏻♂️
— David Bernardi (@DavidBernardi7) January 14, 2018
This is both the greatest and most devastating game I’ve ever watched. #raptors #fix
— robbie otal (@respinder) January 14, 2018
Say what you will the @Raptors can beat Golden State.
— Ryan Kozar (@RyanKozar) January 14, 2018
tbh, the raptors have gotten better from last season. damn!
— Adedoyin (@__kitts) January 14, 2018
Raptors may have lost against the warriors, but we overcame a 27 point deficit at halftime to lose by 2 points WITHOUT KYLE LOWRY! Amazing comeback, time to bounce back and play Philly!
— Zack Webb (@Truemountaineer) January 14, 2018
Wow what an insane second half for the Raptors they make it a hell of a game and fall 127-125 to Golden State.
— Coach Cass (@leafs4life50) January 14, 2018
s/o to the Raptors fans cheering their team off the court. That was really cool and their effort deserved those cheers.

Raptors just made a huge statement this week, destroyed the Cavs and almost came back to beat the champs! NBA has taken noticed to what’s going on! Great job raps! #WeTheNorth
— Joseph Di Marino (@joe_dimarino) January 14, 2018
Lots of learning and reflection needed by #Warriors. Need to be plugged in at all time. Luckily got a win. #Raptors played like a team that had lost only 2 games before tonight. #nba
— tad s (@tiggermug) January 14, 2018

— Toronto Raptors (@Raptors) January 14, 2018
Great comeback from 27pt deficit just fell short. Raptors need that second half effort for all four quarters against the best in the NBA.
— Rob R (@sikguitarist) January 14, 2018
As a raps fan I can take that loss. Down 27 to lost by 2 to the best team in the league. Raptors are a legit team this year #WeTheNorth
— Luca Magoutis (@LMagoutis) January 14, 2018
Raptors losing to Warriors is more beneficial than if they would’ve won #TheStarters
— Klaja (@nikolajdst) January 14, 2018
It was a loss but...FANTASTIC game.
— Joey (@i_am_joey) January 14, 2018
