The Cleveland Browns lost again!
It was, remarkably, the fourth time this season that the Browns have gone to overtime through just seven games. Buccaneers kicker Chandler Catanzaro nailed a 59-yard field goal to win it for Tampa Bay, and over on the sideline, Baker Mayfield was going through the emotional trauma of playing for the Cleveland Browns.
Don’t laugh at Mayfield. He is the modern man, someone of considerable talent and future prospects, but emotionally reduced by the tough times and circumstances that he finds himself in. Baker Mayfield is relatable content.
Things may seem bleak, but remember: Baker Mayfield is the very same quarterback who led the Browns to their first win since 2016. After facing so much misfortune for so long, everyone seems to be rooting for these guys to just get a couple wins. The Browns are truly America’s team.
