Anton Khudobin has earned a reputation around the NHL for being one of the most reliable backup goalies. He’s also one of the funniest and most interesting characters in the NHL, but you might only be aware of this if Khudobin plays, or has played, for your favourite team.
The Dallas Stars don’t have two days off to start the week before they return to action outdoors at the 2020 Winter Classic. Although the man known as Dobby was in between the pipes on Sunday night, where he stopped 33 shots to earn his 9th win, he was back in action on Monday, only he decided to take on a different position.
Khudobin and other members of the Stars made a special visit to a local private school where they played floor hockey with everyone and Dobby was the man of the hour.
Some guys tend to hold back when they’re playing against young fans for fun, but that didn’t matter to Khudobin who was giving it his all and doing everything he could on both ends of the court.
The players also showed off their creative sides as well, as they helped the kids design special Stars cookies.
