After losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night, the Dallas Stars have tied their franchise record for the worst start to a season: They’re just 1-7-1 through their first nine games, hardly an ideal start for a team that was a win away from the conference finals last season.
The emotions are beginning to boil over. Anton Khudobin sounded off on the team after the game, and he didn’t hold back.

Maybe Khudobin is hoping to get his teammates fired up by going off a bit, and it’s still early enough in the season for the team to right the ship.
Remember, the Stars didn’t get off to the smoothest start last season either, but once the team got right, they were looking sharp by the end of the season.
Coach Jim Montgomery is definitely trying to bring a certain edge to his team, too.
