Antoine Roussel shared some harsh words about Canadiens fans ahead of their game vs. the Canucks

Vancouver Canucks forward Antoine Roussel was in no mood to see the colour red on Tuesday night.

It’s common knowledge at this point that Montreal Canadiens fans are some of the best the league has to offer, and regularly have fans making the trip to support them in action. But apparently that doesn’t sit too well with Roussel. Ahead of their meeting at Rogers Arena on Tuesday night, Roussel shared some choice words about Habs fans visiting their barn on the road. Maybe he was just trying to steer the pot, but he definitely didn’t hold back.

Dude… imagine how Leafs just down the road from Montreal feel!? And vice-versa?!

A staggering amount of Canadiens fans showed up to the game, and we think this picture will give you a bit of context. Nothing to see here folks. Just a bunch of red!!!!

To make matters worse for Roussel and the Canucks, Montreal came away with a 3-1 road win. We’re sure Habs fans didn’t take his comments too much to heart.
