Anders Nilsson was drafted by the New York Islanders back in 2009, but the goalie has managed to bounce around the NHL since then. This year will mark his fifth season in the NHL and it just so happens he’ll  be playing for his fifth team.

After quick stops in Edmonton, St. Louis and Buffalo, Nilsson signed a two-year, $5 million contract with the Vancouver Canucks this past offseason in hopes of becoming their everyday starting goalie.

Last month, the 27-year-old shared a picture of his new pads for the upcoming season and they’re pretty sharp.

New season, new gear & new design.

On Monday, the Canucks goalie unveiled his new mask for the upcoming season and it’s a perfect match for his new equipment.

The former third round pick will be rocking a lot of green on his equipment this year and will definitely stand out from the rest of the goalies in the league. Like his pads, Nilsson decided to stick with the Canucks’ green and blue theme on his mask.

Designed by David Gunnarsson, the mask features a little bit of the old and a little bit of the new to make for a perfect combination.
