The Ottawa Senators have had a rough couple of years, and ever since we found out the date of the NHL Draft we knew it was going to be a real make-or-break evening for the team. With two picks in the top five during this season’s Draft, it’s so important Pierre Dorian hits with his picks.
Even given the stakes, the Sens opted to add a little entertainment value to their 3rd overall pick. With a whole fan base anxiously awaiting, Alex Trebek appeared on screen to announce Tim Stutzle as the teams newest member.
…of course he did it as a “Jeopardy!” question.
It doesn’t really matter who goes where, our favourite moment of the draft is ALREADY SOLIDIFIED! Alex Trebek is a Canadian TV legend, so this was a very exciting moment for all of us up here North of the border.
