The MLB Playoffs on Fox received a boost this fall when they brought back Alex Rodriguez and added one his former foes from the Red Sox and Yankees’ rivalry, David Ortiz.
Big Papi and A-Rod are are on a five-team panel that includes Frank Thomas, Keith Hernandez and host Kevin Burkhardt.
With Fox doing the Game 4 broadcast between the Yankees and Astros, the two baseball greats were having some fun with each other during some down time. Ortiz was sitting on a chair on his phone with his headphones in, and that’s when the three-time MVP snuck up on his former rival.
So, what was A-Rod sneaking up on Ortiz with? Why of course, a Yankees letterman jacket, which Ortiz obviously didn’t approve of.
It’s cool to see the two athletes trade in their gloves and bats for a microphone and suit, and let their vibrant humor come through on TV.
We’re almost positive these two are far from being done messing around with each other.
