Canadians, eh?
Canadian basketball fans found themselves in unfamiliar territory during Game 5 of the NBA Finals. They were being called rude.
The criticism was in regards to the Kevin Durant injury, in which Canadian fans could be heard cheering after it was obvious the KD had sustained a leg injury. While it’s a super loaded situation which has been polarizing fans since it happened, one thing is for sure – Canadians wish they could have a do-over on that one.
They’ve been trying to make the necessary reparations as well. From sending KD flowers, to making a giant get well soon card, it’s clear that Canada wants everyone to know that they don’t wish injury on anyone.
One fan took it into his own hands to individually apologize to Warriors fans in Oracle Arena, making his way through the stands and shaking hands with a number of attendees.
