After jetting for the Clippers in free agency, the reigning Finals MVP will make his highly anticipated return to Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night. Fans around the league have had this one marked in their calendar all season and so has New Balance, who stuck a massive ad of their star athlete above the Eaton Centre. No ‘Fun Guy’ or anything to do with ‘Boardman’ on this one, just a simple “thank you”. Of course, he was palming a basketball that his hands made look like a ping pong ball.

A ceremony will be held ahead of tipoff to present Kawhi with his championship ring. The 28-year-old has helped lead the Clippers to an 18-7 record this season, though he’s dressed in only 18 games. However, he’s expected to be a full go on Wednesday. Leonard is averaging 25.1 points along with 7.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists with his new team.
