Some contracts look good at the time but then a few years go by and… They suddenly don’t. So, what better way to reflect back on them than imagining what they would all look like on a roster together?

A hockey fan on Twitter took it upon himself to team up what he sees as the worst contracts on Twitter and unfortunately it features some of the league’s former stars. The most expensive deals on the team include Corey Perry’s $8.625 million hit along with Bobby Ryan’s $7.25 million AAV with the Sens. A total of eight players from Canadian teams made the cut.

Honestly, pretty stacked lineup in 2014!

Some of the names have gotten a little more heat than others since the players put ink to paper. Sure, Loui Eriksson has essentially been invisible on the ice in recent years but let’s talk about that Milan Lucic guy. In 219 games in an Oilers sweater, Luc has scored just 38 goals and 60 assists with a collective -42 plus/minus. But then again, he has been better than former 40-goal-scorer Patrik Laine lately…

How many goals will #PatrikLaine finish the season with? 😳

Yikes!

The highest scorer on the roster this season is Jason Spezza… with just 22 points. We’ve done hockey, but what would you do for the other big four sports? Let us know @BarDown.
