Anyone that has played professional sports knows that it comes with a certain culture and comradery. What you see on the ice, field, or court is only part of the story. What happens behind the scenes is what really weaves a team together.

It's not often that we get a glimpse into that side of sport, but as part of their Canada Games experience, Alana Lesperance and Kaylee Spearing decided to show a little bit of it.

Alana and Kaylee are two key players on a talented Team Manitoba ringette team. While they meant business as much as anyone, and were eventually awarded a bronze medal for their efforts, they made sure to have some fun with it as well.

From breakfast, to dorm life, to bus trips, to warm ups, Alana and Kaylee take you through a day in the life of a ringette player at the Canada Games.

As if the ringette gods were on their side for this particular day, Team Manitoba staged an epic comeback from being down 6-1, eventually winning it in double overtime to beat the host Alberta.

How's that for a day in the life?
