We’ve seen it before, and it never fails to ruffle some feathers. Adult fans stealing sought after items from kids on the hunt.

We saw it with towels at the French Open, and we’ve seen it a number of times with pucks or foul balls. Usually when fans are scolded for the move, they quietly sit down and accept the shaming, evidently deciding that they’re willing to take the heat.

Most recently, we saw a Baltimore Orioles fan find a foul ball in the seats before a couple kids. After receiving the expected jeers, he actually explained himself. The lip readers got to it quick.

Does he have a point?

I mean maybe he’s been waiting for a ball SINCE he was a kid, and now he finally got one. Is that a reason to take it from kids, though?

We’re thinking he’d have a tough time convincing people on that one.
