Milan Lucic is a force in the NHL. Part of his allure as a player that got him a 7-year, $42-million contract is his size and strength relative to players in the NHL.
However, one of the weirdest things is seeing NHL size compared to NBA size.
For example, Milan Lucic is the same height as Steve Nash. Nash always looked like a particularly small player in the NBA, and although Lucic has a lot of weight on him, the relative size to his league makes it you view it totally different. That’s what has us so thrown looking at this photo of Lucic.
He posed for a photo with former NBA stars Vlade Divac and Peja Stojakavic, who he’s apparently friends with and they make him look tiny.
We weren’t the only ones to notice the funny optics of the picture either. Former Oilers captain Andrew Ference was taken aback when he first saw the photo. He couldn’t wrap his head around how big these players really are.
