People who spend a lot of time in large bodies of water understand they have to be prepared for just about any surprise Mother Nature wants to throw their way. They also have to be prepared for anything to come out of the water or close to the shore.
One stand-up paddle boarder in Australia was riding a few waves off the coast of Gracetown on what seemed like a typical Friday afternoon, but that was when he got a surprise greeting from a pod of dolphins.
Seeing the pod of dolphins headed directly for him, the paddle boarder probably thought he was about to witness a once-in-a-lifetime experience and have them all cruise by him. Instead, one of them decided to go airborne and sent him flying.
