The NFL has a section dedicated to the top selling jerseys of the month and top selling jerseys by state on the NFL Shop page.
Every month, the NFL releases a list of the top 25 selling jerseys throughout the league and also includes a map of the United States featuring the top selling jersey by state.
The latest top 25 list is from May and it featured two rookies on it.
However, since the release of the top 25 list for May, one player in particular has climbed numerous spots and now finds himself at the top of the list.
On Tuesday, Pittsburgh Steelers rookie James Conner shared a picture of the top 6 selling jerseys in the NFL and his name was at the top of the list.
Selected 105th overall by the Steelers in this summer’s draft, Conner is an Erie, Pennsylvania native who played his college football at Pittsburgh, but being a local boy is just part of the reason why he’s sitting atop the NFL’s top selling jerseys list and is the top seller in Pennsylvania.
In 2015, Conner was diagnosed with cancer. Putting his football career on hold, Conner won an intense battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and got back on the field in time to lied his team in rushing in his final college season. The 22-year-old probably won’t get any starting time this year, but that won’t stop fans from purchasing his No. 30 Steelers jersey.
