The Stanley Cup final isn't something that was enjoyed only by hockey fans and players.

No, the thrilling six-game final between the Penguins and Predators was watched by many big name athletes in the other major sports.

One day after the Penguins' Stanley Cup parade, Sidney Crosby revealed another big name that apparently was watching the series.

Sid said that this legendary athlete even texted him to congratulate him on winning his third Cup.

Two-time Super Bowl champion and five-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning texted Crosby to congratulate him on the win.

He would have been one of the last people we would have expected to send Sid a text, but it just goes to show you that all of these athletes love to watch other sports and players just like fans.

As awesome as a text from Manning was, it didn't compare to the text Kevin Durant got from this person after winning the NBA title.
