The MLB season is a grind like no other thanks to a 162 game schedule.
Players and managers don't have many days off, and sometimes, frustration sets in for different reasons.
The Yankees and their fans haven't had much to be frustrated about this season as they currently are tied for first place in the AL East.
That said, they lost their third straight game Saturday as they fell to the Rays 9-5 and in the loss, manager Joe Girardi got ejected for arguing the strike zone.
Before leaving, though, Girardi made the ejection worthwhile as he covered home plate with dirt.
After the loss, Girardi explained why he covered the plate with dirt:
Girardi got his money's worth, and so did baseball fans everywhere.
