Yankees fan filmed himself going from hyped to heartbroken during 9th inning of loss to Boston

This past weekend, the New York Yankees had a chance to gain some ground on the AL East-leading Boston Red Sox.

After beating Boston on Friday night, the Bronx Bombers dropped Saturday's game, but on Sunday they had a chance to get some revenge.

Up 2-1 in the ninth with Aroldis Chapman on the mound, it seemed like the Yankees were on their way to a series win, but then this happened:

That was the first homer Chapman allowed this year, and it was by 20-year-old Rafael Devers.

Boston went on to win the game 3-2 in extra innings to take the series, and the loss at home was a heartbreaker for Yankees fans, including this one who decided to take the world on his roller coaster of emotions in the 9th:

Even though the loss was crushing, the Yankees have time to gain ground in the division race as they face the Red Sox seven more times before the season is over.
