The New York Yankees find themselves with a two-game lead in the AL East after going 26-17 through their first 43 games of the 2017 season.
One of the biggest reasons for their great start to the season has been the play of rookie Aaron Judge. The 25-year-old has 15 home runs and 30 RBI while batting .315 in 146 at-bats, and leads all rookie batters in runs, home runs, RBI and walks.
Due to the hot start by the right fielder, the team decided to dedicate a section to him inside Yankee Stadium.
Known as ‘The Judge’s Chambers’, the new fan section dedicated to Judge is located in right field so they have the best seat in the house when it comes to watching the MLB home run leader play defence.
The fans in the section are all given jersey robes featuring Judge’s No. 99, as well as a foam gavel.
The Linden, California native is showing everyone exactly why the Yankees drafted him in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft.
