The NBA is very loose on enforcing the letter of the law when it comes to calling traveling on players, but when it's blatantly obvious, it kind of has to be called. Thankfully for the referees, the Golden State Warriors' bench is attempting to help them call violations that occur against their own team.
During the Warriors game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Klay Thompson had one of the worst travel violations we've seen in a while. It wasn't the type of play where he was on a fast break and maybe took one too many steps, but rather him doing a short tap dance routine after a pump fake. It was bad.
The Warriors bench can be seen in the shot, and they all simultaneously notice, look at each other, and call the violation.
But, of course, the referees didn't see a thing...
