Vince Carter has enjoyed a kind of renaissance in the last couple years of the NBA, showing off his hops and becoming a fan-favourite across the league.

Of course, he was always well-liked by many, but became a kind of controversial figure in Toronto after how he was traded out of town. However, the story below just shows how he’s clawed back into the good graces of virtually every NBA fan.

He set up a Facebook Live with the Memphis Grizzlies to answer fans questions. These segments usually last between 10 and 30 minutes and would very rarely go over an hour. Carter did his for over two hours. He answers questions like whether he’ll still be dunking when he’s 50, he apologizes for getting ejected on somebody’s birthday.

He also explains how he still has some business ventures in Toronto and expects to do more of it in the future. Here are the full videos (First one is 20 minutes, the next is over two hours.

About the Toronto question, he really makes it sound like he plans on spending some more time in Canada in the future, answering one fan with:

“Don’t be surprised if I come up with some business ventures in Toronto”.

The fans truly appreciate stuff like this and so do the people Vince works with. Even the social media member from the Grizzlies expressed how much she appreciated him giving his time to do this.

He also said he hopes he’s still able to dunk when he’s 50 and is optimistic, because Dr. J can still dunk. We'd say we’re optimistic as well.
