Over the past few years, Vince Carter has turned from a villain to a hero in the NBA. The 40-year-old is nearing the end of his career and seems to have fans in every city he makes a stop in. We have seen fans fly from across the world just to witness him play in person and they have supported him during every stop of his career.
The Memphis Grizzlies were at home on Friday night for a game against the Sacramento Kings. Prior to the game during the team’s pre-game warm-ups, Carter decided to get a young Grizzlies fan involved in his pre-game routine.
It’s getting harder and harder for fans to continue to hold a grudge against Carter after they see him do things like this throughout the year. It’s certainly a moment that the young fan will remember for the rest of his life and one that the eight-time All-Star will most likely also remember for a very long time.
