Who knew that the Vancouver Canucks' old logo would make its way into high-fashion?
The Canucks haven't sported their old skate logo on a full-time basis since the 1996-97 season, but the design has remained a staple amongst fans for years. Apparently someone at Versace didn't think that was the case, or they just didn't think that hockey fans would be looking at their apparel, as they went ahead and used the old Canucks logo in one of their recent designs, as spotted by a user on Reddit.
That logo doesn't even kind of look like the Canucks logo. It pretty much is the Canucks logo. The design looks pretty bad, but the part that by far looks the worst is the price tag. It cost €860, or roughly $1260 Canadian.
We think we would rather have this classic CCM Pavel Bure jersey instead.
