The Vegas Golden Knights had a couple of franchise firsts Wednesday night as they faced the Ducks for the first time in franchise history and played a game at the Honda Center for the first time ever.
Anyone that follows the Golden Knights on Twitter knows they've dropped 'Mighty Ducks' references in a number of their tweets, so fans should have expected something similar for the game against the Ducks.
Thankfully Vegas delivered (as they always do) with a number of awesome Mighty Ducks tweets from the beginning of the game to the end.
The Golden Knights also dropped intermission polls featuring Mighty Ducks related questions:
The Golden Knights saved the best tweets for the third period, though, as they managed to top the Ducks for another franchise first.
We're huge fans of the Mighty Ducks movie series and these tweets from the Golden Knights which is no surprise.
What is a surprise, though, is how well Vegas has done so far in their inaugural season and with the win against the Ducks, the Golden Knights moved back into first place in the Pacific.
